Paintball Target Range
PLEASE NOTE – we are currently operating Laser Tag from our temporary site in Waerenga, near Te Kauwhata, due to construction works on Hutchinson Road. At this new location, Laser Tag is combined with Paintball Target Shooting and has a revised price of $35pp for a 2 hour session, including full Laser Tag event plus 50 paintballs per player for the range. We also require a minimum of 10 players and will be combining groups where/when necessary. Paintball Target Shooting is NOT available as a stand alone activity at this time. A fun way of experiencing firing a paintball marker, our Paintball Target Range is open to all ages…we’ve even had 2 year old children give it a go!
Aiming at our purpose built target range which houses a variety of targets to challenge even the most confident shooter, we run a light hearted competition between players to see who’s the best shot. Willing parents who are keen to be moving targets – are always a big hit (mask included).
The range is re-locatable and can be set up at most venues – venue suitability to be confirmed by Hinterland Management. PLUS we have re-usable foam paintballs for indoor use!
A great option is to combo Paintball Target Range with Laser Tag for an action packed event.

- The full session will last around 45mins with 100 paintballs (depending on size of group & purchase of additional paintballs)
- Wear sturdy closed in footwear
- Bring a great attitude!
- All the safety gear & equipment is provided
- Drinking water is provided on site, however we recommend you also bring your own bottle of water
- With groups of under 10 people, we reserve the right to add another age appropriate group to yours to help with bookings on busy days
- Intoxicated persons are not permitted to play at Hinterland Adventures but please feel free to enjoy a drink after your event at our BBQ area

Paintball Target Range faqs
No. The Target Range is faced out towards all the items to shoot out and all players and spectators are kept away from this side of things. The only exception is if one adult volunteers to be a moving target for the children/team, we will give them a paintball mask and they will try to avoid everyone’s fire but it is likely they will get hit by a paintball then.
